Helenenstraße 34 (Germany), residental building

A former "Fachwerk" structure had to be converted to make it suitable for a family house. The task was further complicated by the need to construct a new multi-apartment condominium next to the existing building.

During the construction phase, many difficulties had to be overcome, as the timber structure of the existing 150-year-old barn was damaged in several places and the unevenness of the beams meant that the floor leveling required considerable precision. Fortunately, together with our German partners, we were able to keep the project under control and create a homely and unique building for the client in the heart of Markgröningen.
